1.800 meters, 15 turns, many jumps, and a layout that spectators will enjoy from any sector where they can be. The new Infinito Race Track is one of the surprises prepared for the Motocross World Championship opening round, on March 1 and 2 in Córdoba Capital, that riders have to discover.

A new layout, new challenges, and a track that the protagonists need to understand quickly during the weekend before starting each of the races of this first round in the calendar is a very special way to open a new season of the Motocross World Championship.

“As a rider and fan, I imagine that one of the most exciting sectors of the track will be the highest sector, with the triple jump uphill, which has an extension of almost 32 meters. It is surely going to be spectacular”, said the renowned Italian designer and he added: “Besides, there are some very technical places like a turn on the inside of the circuit that ends in descent, followed by a sharp right turn and a new uphill, or the right turn in the mid-section of the track, before the triple jump uphill, which is a slow but very challenging sector. Also, I like the part of the uphill waves that end in a slight climb where the track has two lanes before the first turn.”

As for the secrets that the track hides, Morelli highlighted: “I think finding the rhythm of the track will be key as it is not too fast nor too slow; in fact, it has everything. The whole circuit has a lot of big jumps, something you don’t find very often because, especially in Europe, we can’t have this space, and that’s why I think it will be very spectacular.”

“Surely it is not a track for standard riders. It is a track for good-level riders because the turns are not going to be easy, the type of soil, the jumps, everything makes it a track with a high level,” he said and also anticipated: “We have also worked to make it a track where you can see many overtakes between riders so we hope to have a lot of action in each race.”

Finally, the Italian designer mentioned that the weather can help consolidate the terrain: “The rain these days is helping us a lot. We needed a lot of rain because the soil was very dry and now the conditions are perfect”, he concluded. Everything is ready for Cordoba to enjoy the MXGP Argentina YPF “party” this weekend.
