Argentina, only American round

The MXGP Patagonia Argentina will be held on March 11-12 in Villa La Angostura, in the province of Neuquén.
The national round, which will be celebrated the seventh edition in the south of the country, will be the opening of the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar, which has a total of 20 rounds, where Argentina is the only one in the American continent during the season.

The best track on the planet

As tradition marks, the MXGP in Argentina will run at the extraordinary Patagonia Race Track. The track created in 2015 and designed by Lucas de La Fuente, has conquered both riders and fans as well.

It is a track mounted on a sand base that was mixed with volcanic ashes and combines natural slopes with flat sections where flat plateaus and big jumps were built. It also has natural ridges and some wave zones, wide curves and a large number of jumps, some quite technical and others very high.

Of course, it is located in one of the most stunning environments of the Patagonian region, surrounded by mountains, lakes and forests.

The great return of a champion

The MXGP Patagonia Argentina will have two days of pure action with the presence of the MXGP and MX2 categories. Featuring the participation of the best riders of the world and a great presence of riders from the region, it promises to be a weekend of thrilling emotions.

Among the riders that will be in Villa La Angostura, one of the most outstanding presences will be, without a doubt, the return of Jeffrey Herlings. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, three times MX2 champion (2012, 2013 and 2016) and holder of two MXGP titles (2018 and 2021), will have his long-awaited return to the world championship after a 2022 absence due to an injury suffered in the pre-season that sidelined him from the whole season.

The Latin American Motocross Championship will make its debut

This edition of the MXGP Patagonia Argentina will have as a novelty the Latin American Motocross Championship.

Latin American riders will be able to enjoy the unique experience of living this competition that will take place only during the weekend in Villa La Angostura and that will award the best on the top of the podium.
